From Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th of June 2026 we welcome you in Enschede for a three day hands on course on Breast MRI. You will have the chance to read over 150 selected interesting end educational cases, complete with prior exams, clinical history, pathology and follow-up. You will be working on CAD (computer aided detection) breast MRI workstations, in small teams of two to three participants. During the course we will start with clear cut cases, followed by more difficult ones. We combine these reading sessions with lectures on Breast MRI by experienced Breast radiologists. Each combined session covers a separate topic. This way we will take you through the reading process step by step. The staff as well as technical support is present at all times to answer any questions you might have while reading the scans. To ensure the quality of this highly interactive course we limit the number of attendees to about 50.
One highlight of this course is that you will learn from the difficulties that we encountered in daily practice, as malignant and benign lesions sometimes present similarly. We’ll share our tips and tricks to enhance your performance. Still, it will not always be possible to differentiate based on MR images, and therefore we will also give practical tips on how to manage difficult cases.

- Select imaging protocols and techniques to optimize breast MR exams in keeping with current recommended standards
- Perform and assess breast MRI exams
- Make reports in accordance with the latest standardized terminology
- Gain an understanding of the use of CAD in reporting Breast MRI
